Automation Integration Engineer

We are hiring on behalf of one of our key US based client - a globally recognized service provider of flexible and scalable outsourced warehousing solutions, designed to adapt to the evolving demands of today’s supply chains.

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Automation Integration Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of automation and integration solutions across various systems. The role requires hands-on experience in automation scripting, integration workflows, and simulation support.

Key Responsibilities

1. Automation & Integration Support:

- Assist in developing and maintaining integration components and automation workflows.

- Support integration across applications, automation platforms, and data systems.

2. Automation Development:

- Develop scripts and utilities using Python and UNIX/Shell scripting.

- Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation.

3. Simulation & System Modeling:

- Support creation and execution of simulation scenarios.

- Help analyze simulation outputs for improvement.

4. Integration Testing & Deployment:

- Assist with system integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Support CI/CD-based deployment activities.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with senior engineers, QA, DevOps, and operations teams.

- Collaborate during vendor interactions and commissioning phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Automation, or related field.

- 2–5 years of experience in automation development, integration engineering, or system testing.

- Hands-on experience with Python, Shell scripting, and UNIX/Linux environments.

- Understanding of API-based integrations and automation frameworks.

- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to robotics and automation systems such as AMRs/AGVs, AS/RS, cobots, conveyor systems.

- Familiarity with WCS/WES/WMS concepts.

-Exposure to simulation tools or digital twin concepts.

- Understanding of CI/CD tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
