Duties and Responsibilities

As the Automation Lead, you will:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business leaders, and domain experts to understand business objectives and identify automation opportunities, including opportunities enabled by Agentic AI and autonomous workflows.
  • Design and architect end-to-end intelligent automation solutions leveraging AI/ML technologies and Power Automate Cloud and Desktop, incorporating advanced Copilot customization, governance, and LLM integration.
  • Lead and run intelligent automation projects ensuring successful delivery within scope and timeline, including cloud AI service–based initiatives such as Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services, as well as SharePoint Online–based automation and integration solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the automation development lifecycle, including prompt engineering, autonomous workflow design, and RPA scaling.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including process design documents, solution architecture, and project plans for AI-driven and Power Platform solutions.
  • Identify and address potential risks and challenges during automation implementation, offering practical mitigation approaches focused on performance bottlenecks, data integrity issues, system failures, and AI-related considerations.
  • Stay updated on advancements in AI, ML, and RPA technologies (Power Automate Desktop and Cloud), including cloud AI services and emerging autonomous agents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate intelligent automation with existing systems, including AI model integrations and Power Pages portals.
  • Mentor and coach team members, promote best practices, and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural principles relevant to AI, LLMs, and Power Platform governance.
  • Assess and evaluate technologies, frameworks, and tools for suitability, including AI platforms, LLM integrations, and cloud cognitive services.
  • Identify and document functional and non-functional requirements, including those related to AI models, autonomous workflows, and advanced Power Platform components.


Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, project managers, and technical teams, to understand their requirements and objectives.
  • Identify existing systems and applications that need to be integrated into the solution.
  • Design integration patterns, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms to ensure seamless communication and interoperability between systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure a shared understanding of the solution architecture.
  • Documentation of the solution architecture, including architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications
