Job Description

  • Will play a crucial role in leading the automation testing efforts across multiple projects. Automation resource will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining regression, integration and e2e test. The candidate should have a strong understanding of quality assurance principles, automation testing tools, and the ability to lead a team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, automated test solutions.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop comprehensive automated test suites for complex web applications.
  • Ensure pass rate is maintained and failures are addressed on a timely, feasible manner.
  • Has urge to constantly innovate and increase adoption.
  • Comfortable in peer review activities and recommendations.
  • Should be proficient in looking at test framework capabilities and recommend the right improvements as needed and if allowed should be able to modify and maintain the framework
  • Integrate test automation scripts into the continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) pipeline
  • Analyse test results to identify potential areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve software defects, integration issues and optimize performance
  • Prepare detailed integration test automation reports and presentations
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest integration test automation tools and methodologies
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on web applications including integration test
  • Mandate IBM Tririga experience
  • Proven expertise in test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright , SoapUI
  • Extensive experience designing and executing automated tests for complex web applications
  • In-depth understanding of web application development practices and technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs
  • Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow
  • In-depth understanding of software testing methodologies, including black-box testing and white-box testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex integration issues, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility problems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to different project requirements and timelines
  • Experience with cloud-based testing platforms and API testing
  • Experience with writing test automation scripts using languages like Python or Java
