**About this role:**



Wells Fargo is seeking a Securities Research Associate



**In this role, you will:**



+ Provide support in the editing and publishing functions within the Global Research and Economics Group in Wells Fargo Securities

+ Generate research packet products, post research documents to market data vendors, update and maintain mailing lists, and provide client access to web sites

+ Assign reports to Editors and Supervisory Analysts to ensure the most efficient use of resources

+ Maintain databases

+ Receive directions from leaders

+ Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals



**Required Qualifications:**



+ 2+ years of Securities Research experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education



**Desired Qualifications:**



+ 2+ years of hands‑on experience in automation, analytics, or AI‑assisted workflows. Strong proficiency in Python and Excel VBA for automation. Experience working with GenAI models (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or equivalent) and basic prompt engineering. Working knowledge of Power BI/Power Automate or similar automation platforms. Ability to analyze unstructured data and design standardized automation logic. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. At least a BCA/BCS/BSc in Computer Science, MCA in Information Systems, or an equivalent qualification. MBA would be an advantage



**Job Expectations:**



+ Analyze business processes to identify automation opportunities and translate them into functional requirements.

+ Develop and deploy GenAI‑enabled automation solutions using LLMs, prompt engineering, and integration with internal systems.

+ Build automation scripts using Python, Excel VBA, Power Automate, and related tools to streamline manual workflows.

+ Create, refine, and test prompts and workflows for GenAI platforms to improve accuracy and reliability.

+ Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to understand use cases and deliver scalable AI‑driven solutions.

+ Prepare documentation, process maps, and user guides for delivered automation tools.

+ Monitor performance of automation scripts and GenAI workflows; proactively troubleshoot issues. Support stakeholders in adopting GenAI tools by providing demos, training, and ongoing enhancements.
