Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Technician to join the Service team in Kalgoorlie. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial control systems, a keen interest for continuous learning and ability to produce safe, reliable and maintainable PLC and SCADA systems to meet client requirements within a wide variety of sectors. This is a permanent full‑time role for a licensed electrician. You will be experienced in troubleshooting using online PLC and SCADA tools across major platforms including Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider.

In This Role, You Will

• Provide field service and breakdown support for a range of customers across varying industries.
• Perform preventative, corrective and recommended maintenance and maintain documentation.
• Lead electrical installation works.
• Assist with commissioning of projects.
• Work on the job reporting and invoicing.

Skills And Experience

• Strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment.
• Industrial electrical experience.
• PLC programming (ideally in Rockwell, Siemens and Schneider) and HMI/SCADA programming (ideally in Citect, FactoryTalk or WinCC).
• Electrical installation and commissioning experience.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability and desire to participate in a rotating after‑hours on‑call roster.
• Australian driver’s licence and unrestricted electrical licence (essential).
• Right to work in Australia (essential).
