Job Description

API Automation Engineer – We are seeking an experienced API Automation Engineer to join our client’s engineering team. This role focuses on building robust API automation frameworks, enhancing test coverage across microservices, and contributing to performance and integration testing within a modern engineering environment. 

Performance Testing

  • Build, execute, and optimize performance test scripts using:
  • K6 (TypeScript scripting)
  • JMeter (including WireMock integration where required)
  • Configure K6 thresholds, checks, ramp‑up strategies, and VU models.
  • Integrate K6 metrics into Grafana dashboards for real‑time performance insights
  • Provide detailed performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and recommend tuning strategies

DevOps (Nice to Have)

  • Set up and maintain local testing environments using Docker (WireMock, Kafka, K6 containers)
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate closely with developers and DevOps engineers to align test execution across environments
