JOB DESCRIPTION:
Must have:
8 - 10 years of experience in test automation as an SDET in BFSI domain.
Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or C#.
Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, Test NG, or Cypress.
Hands-on experience with API testing, database validation, and performance testing.
Familiarity with commercial insurance systems and workflows.
Good exposure to Gen AI, LLMs
Responsibilities:
Automation Development
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for:
- Claims intake, adjudication, and settlement
- Underwriting rules, risk scoring, and policy issuance
- Build reusable components for UI, API, and data validation testing.
Test Strategy & Execution
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA teams to understand test requirements.
- Implement test automation strategies aligned with business workflows.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results for functional and regression testing.
CI/CD Integration
- Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git Lab, or Azure Dev Ops.
- Ensure automated tests are triggered during code check-ins and deployments.
Defect Management & Reporting
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Provide detailed test execution reports and metrics to stakeholders.
Collaboration & Support
- Work closely with developers, BAs, and QA leads to ensure test coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to testability improvements.
