Job Title: Automation Test Engineer

Experience: 5 to 8 Years

Type: Full-Time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Tester with strong experience in

Selenium and Java, who can own end-to-end testing, define test strategy, and ensure

quality governance across projects. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders

to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable software deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

Automation & Testing

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium with Java

Perform end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system

testing

Automate test cases and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines

Execute test suites and analyze results to identify defects and risks

Test Strategy & Quality Governance

Define and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases aligned with

business requirements

Establish and enforce quality standards, best practices, and governance models

Ensure compliance with defined QA processes and metrics

Stakeholder & Team Coordination

Collaborate with product owners, developers, business analysts, and clients

Provide regular test status updates, quality metrics, and risk assessments

Participate in requirement reviews and design discussions to ensure testability

Defect & Release Management

Log, track, and manage defects through to closure

Perform root cause analysis and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Support UAT, release sign-offs, and production validation

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium Automation using Java

Solid understanding of end-to-end testing concepts and test lifecycle

Experience in test strategy definition and execution

Strong knowledge of QA processes, quality governance, and metrics

Experience working with Agile / Scrum methodologies

Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA,

TestRail, ALM, etc.)

Good to Have:

Experience with API automation (REST Assured / Postman)

Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)

Exposure to Performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Experience in DevOps / CI-CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven)
