Automine Technician

Job Purpose

An Automation Technician manages the AutoMine system’s regular operation and conducts preventive maintenance and repairs, including:

• Configure and setup new machines in the AutoMine system
• Calibrate AutoMine machines and test automation functionality
• Manually operate heavy mining machinery
• Perform software updates on the AutoMine system
• Perform software installs on the AutoMine onboard components
• Maintain AutoMine map versions
• Maintain the AutoMine MineLAN network
• Conduct system (including onboard equipment) audits
• Analyze log files and perform routine system maintenance
  

An Automation Technician is critical in ensuring the AutoMine system is well‑maintained, operational, and running smoothly. By doing so, the Automation Technician helps to reduce downtime, increase productivity, and maintain a safe working environment.
