Job Description

Lumenance is seeking qualified design engineers to help our client develop components for active safety systems and package them into future cars. 

Job Duties

  • Utilize CATIA V5 to perform the mechanical design (3D + 2D) and packaging of mechanical and elctromechanical components and assemblies ( sensors, electrical units, mounting hardware).
  • Coordinate with styling studio, other design engineers, suppliers, and factories to ensure all requirements are understood and cross-functional needs are addressed
  • Ensure assigned parts and assemblies incorporate form, fit, function, and manufacturability requirements
  • Manage one's schedule for all assignments. Includes tracking of project schedule and working overtime as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Track the cost of assigned parts and systems
  • As requested, investigating new technology and industry trends that will evolve into improved or new products
