Overview

Automotive Electrical Systems Design Engineer

Location: Toluca, MX. Modality: Hybrid, 3 days on site per week. Applicants must reside and be legally authorized to work in Mexico.

As part of SEGULA Technologies’ growing global team, you’ll work on exciting vehicle programs spanning model years 2026 to 2033, contributing directly to the development of next-generation automotive electrical systems.

We’re looking for a talented Electrical Wiring Design Engineer who thrives in collaborative environments and is passionate about innovation in vehicle architecture and electrical integration.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and validating wiring harnesses, brackets, and electrical modules for automotive systems.
  • Creating and maintaining 3D CAD models and 2D wiring diagrams using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
  • Participating in design reviews and integration forums to ensure seamless system alignment.
  • Documenting electrical load validation, routing feasibility, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborating with engineering and product development teams across disciplines.
Deliverables
  • Accurate wiring diagrams and harness documentation.
  • CAD models and technical drawings for electrical components.
  • Design presentations and technical analysis reports.
  • Monthly progress updates and compliance documentation.
Qualifications

Junior Level (1–4 Years Of Experience)

  • Experience in automotive electrical design.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX and SAE wiring design fundamentals.
  • Intermediate English communication skills.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Design preferred.

Senior Level (5+ years of experience)

  • Strong background in automotive electrical systems design.
  • Advanced Siemens NX skills, including electrical routing.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
  • Experience with SimSolid and CAE principles.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
