    • The Role & Duties


    As an Auto Electrician you will be hands-on with a variety of heavy and light mining equipment, with duties across surface and underground locations:

  • Attending breakdowns and preventative maintenance

  • Performing diagnostics, electrical fault-finding, repairs, and component change-outs

  • Working on loaders, drills, charge rigs, light vehicles, and support machinery

  • Learning from experienced tradespeople and being signed off to work across both surface and underground operations

  • Exposure to well-known equipment brands including Sandvik, CAT, Volvo, and more

    • Roster & Travel


    This role offers a work-life balanced FIFO roster giving you both stability and downtime:

  • FIFO from Brisbane, Townsville, or Cairns, with all flights arranged and included and airport-to-site transfers via arranged buses

  • Choose between 2:2 or 8:6 roster options, across days and nights both day and night shifts

  • Full camp accommodation and meals provided, including comfortable rooms and high-quality dining, allowing you to focus on your work and recharge during downtime.

    • Your Skills & Experience


    We're seeking a highly skilled Auto Electrician who is ready to hit the ground running and upskill within their trade into mining but must have:

  • Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician (Cert III or equivalent)

  • Experience on heavy equipment such as mobile plant, mining, agricultural etc

  • Certificate II in Air Conditioning is highly advantageous but not essential

  • Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and repair skills across a range of machinery

  • Proven ability to maintain high safety standards and work collaboratively in a team environment

  • Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical and police clearance
