Job Title: Service advisor

Roles and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Interaction & Service Booking

    • Greet customers and schedule service appointments.

    • Understand customer concerns and vehicle issues.

    • Explain service requirements, repair options, and costs.

  2. Job Card Preparation & Coordination

    • Prepare accurate job cards/work orders.

    • Communicate repair/maintenance needs to workshop technicians.

    • Ensure correct allocation of jobs to mechanics.

  3. Advising & Upselling

    • Recommend additional services or preventive maintenance.

    • Upsell value-added services, accessories, and extended warranties.

  4. Workshop Communication

    • Act as a bridge between the customer and workshop team.

    • Track job progress and keep customers informed.

    • Ensure timely completion of service/repair.

  5. Cost Estimation & Approval

    • Provide accurate repair estimates.

    • Obtain customer approval before carrying out additional work.

  6. Quality Check & Vehicle Delivery

    • Inspect serviced vehicles before handover.

    • Explain work done, costs, and warranty coverage to the customer.

    • Ensure smooth and timely delivery of vehicles.

  7. Customer Relationship Management

    • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues.

    • Follow up with customers post-service for feedback.

    • Maintain long-term relationships to build loyalty.

  8. Documentation & Compliance

    • Maintain service records and job documentation.

    • Ensure compliance with manufacturer and company standards.

Requirements

Exp Required- Minimum 1.5 years as a Service Advisor in automobile industry only

Benefits

Salary- 20-30k CTC per month
