AV Lead Engineer

Job Description

Our client is recruiting a Lead AV Engineer to take ownership of commissioning and technical delivery across high-profile AV projects, working between design, production and site teams.

Key Responsibilities
•Lead commissioning at the front end of projects in preparation for deployment
• Translate technical designs into full system configurations and documentation prior to factory testing and site works, including:
o Video systems
o Audio systems
o Wireless frequency coordination
o Firmware updates
o General equipment configuration
o UI and workflow testing
o AV/IT schedule reviews
• Create test plans and test sheets in conjunction with the Technical Manager
• Carry out factory testing with the production team
• Perform network VLAN and patching tests ahead of second-fix activities
