Aveva PI Consultant

We are seeking an experienced AVEVA PI Consultant with strong expertise in consulting, system integration, support, and implementation of AVEVA PI solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data acquisition, contextualization, visualization, reporting, and system management within industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute AVEVA PI-based implementation and integration projects.
• Configure and manage Data Historian and real-time application systems.
• Set up and maintain PI Interfaces (OPC DA/HDA, PItoPI, PI-RDBMS, PI-Modbus, PI Perfmon), PI Connectors (OPC UA, PI System Connector), and PI Adapter for Azure Event Hubs .
• Develop and manage Asset Framework (AF) elements, templates, and asset hierarchies for data contextualization.
• Design and deploy data visualization tools such as PI Vision and PI ProcessBook.
• Generate reports using PI Datalink , manage Event Frames , and configure PI Notifications .
• Ensure high availability through PI DA Collectives , load balancers, Azure App Gateways, failover mechanisms, and SQL Availability Groups.
• Administer PI system tools including PI SMT, PI Builder, PI Collective Manager, PI SE, PI Vision Utility, and Edgecmd .
• Implement and maintain security protocols (Windows Integrated Security, Kerberos, PI Mappings & Trusts, SSL Certificates).
• Enable system access via PI Web API, PI AF SDK, and PowerShell scripting .

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of AVEVA PI and ecosystem.
• Proficiency in data acquisition, contextualization, and visualization tools.
• Experience in high-availability configurations and system security management.
• Hands-on experience with PI system administration and integration with Azure.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize PI systems for performance and reliability.
