Avionics Architect (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

Lead the design of the Avionics architecture of the satellite

Define and develop the Avionics Architecture of the satellite, covering initial sizing, trade offs, Interface Budgets and HW performances

Manage the avionics subsystems (data handling, telemetry and telecommands, payload data downlink, laser communications terminal, crypto) during detailed design and testing phases as design authority

Interface management and control on physical level and across the protocol stack

Development risk management and mitigation

Test planning and supervision

Non-conformance closure

Your Qualifications

A degree in engineering with a major in electrical engineering, systems engineering, or compatible qualification

Professional experience in space- or aircraft avionics domain

Professional experience leading technical teams of at least 2 domains

Experience with hardware projects in phase B/C/D in the field of avionics systems

Proven capability to deliver project results in time and budget

Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work independently

Fluency in spoken and written English

Fluency in German is desired (Language skills can be improved through company-facilitated trainings)
