Overview
Functions as an Avionics/Electrician Technician, specializing in aircraft electrical systems. Conducts unit-level maintenance on aircraft electrical, navigational, and avionics components, adhering to the specific aircraft Operators Manual, Maintenance Test Flight Manual, Check List Manual, and customer or specific directives. Diagnoses and rectifies malfunctions in aircraft systems and components, including solid-state and transistorized devices, following relevant technical manuals, directives, and safety procedures. Utilizes common and precision measuring tools, performs operational checks on aircraft electrical systems, and tests, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical systems test sets and diagnostic equipment. Assists the Customer in requisitioning and maintaining Shop and Bench stock items for repairing aircraft avionics systems and instruments.
