AVP - US TAX

Skills:

• Prepare U.S. federal, state, and local income tax returns for partnerships
• Demonstrate proficiency in hedge fund strategies, including long/short equity
• Experience with various hedge fund structures such as master-feeder, mini-master, fund-of-funds
• Experience with financial services taxation including wash sales, QDI, PFIC reporting, Section 1256 contracts, NPCs, Section 988, constructive sales, straddles
• Experience with aggregate tax allocations
• Experience with calculation of taxable income and partner tax allocations
• Working knowledge of compliance with all tax regulations and timely filing of tax returns
• Perform detailed self-review of work for accuracy and completeness
• Possess strong written and verbal communications skills in English
• Be a team player that has a proven record of working effectively
• Ability to multi-task and balance between competing priorities
