AVP/VP Data Architecture (f/m/x) - We are looking for an AVP/VP Data Architecture (f/m/x) to start immediately for our client, a banking company based in the Frankfurt am Main area.

For this position, the employee in question will work directly for our client. The support, placement and all of our additional services are free of charge for you as the applicant.

    • Your Responsibilities as AVP/VP Data Architecture (f/m/x)

  • Design and maintenance of conceptual, logical, and physical data models
  • Further development and operational management of the Collibra instance as the central Data Management & Governance tool
  • Ensuring robust Data Lineage and establishing traceable data processes
  • Analysis of existing data structures and identification of optimisation opportunities for scalability and performance
  • Close collaboration with Data Engineers, Analysts, and business stakeholders across Germany and EMEA
  • Support on regulatory data requirements (e.g., IREF from 2023, EU BIRD data models)
  • Development and delivery of training programmes (significant training needs across EU/EMEA)
  • Operational enhancement and maintenance of data-management tools and governance structures
  • Representation of the EU AG within the EMEA Data Community and alignment with system owners in the US

    • Your Qualification and Skills

  • Strong expertise in Collibra (architecture, usage, administration, training) or comparable Tooling
  • Solid understanding of data architecture and data modelling
  • Fluency in English and German language skills
  • Knowledge of Data Mesh, Data Fabric, or Databricks
  • Banking / financial industry background (not mandatory; can be learned)
