Role Description

At Krasamo, we are looking for an AWS Cloud Engineer / Backend Python Developer with

strong experience in backend development and AWS cloud architecture to join our team in

Mexico.

The selected candidate will be involved in:

● Designing and developing scalable backend services using Python

● Architecting, implementing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure

● Developing RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications

● Implementing serverless architectures using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and related

services

● Integrating databases such as RDS, DynamoDB, and S3

● Automating infrastructure and deployments using Infrastructure as Code

● Monitoring performance, availability, and security in cloud environments

● Troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis

● Collaborating with frontend, mobile, DevOps, and product teams

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

● Intermediate to advanced English level (B2 or higher)

● 5+ years of experience in backend development and cloud engineering

● Strong command of Python for backend development

● Solid experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS,

DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and IAM

● Experience designing secure, scalable, and highly available architectures

● Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and distributed systems

● Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative environments

● Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation

Certifications (Required)

● AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)

● AWS Certified Developer – Associate

● AWS Certified SysOps Administrator is a plus

Nice to Have

● Experience with Docker and containers

● Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation

● Integration of cloud systems with IoT or mobile applications

● Knowledge of security, compliance, and cost optimization in AWS

● Passion for cloud architecture, automation, and engineering best practices

● Teamwork with software, mobile, and DevOps engineers

● Coordination mainly in U.S. Central Time (CST) schedule
