Title: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Experience: 6-7 yrs

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to assist with the design, deployment, and management of cloud services that integrate with on-premises Active Directory environments. This role requires deep expertise in hybrid cloud architecture, infrastructure automation, and enterprise-grade identity solutions. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, scalable, and cost-effective infrastructure operations across both cloud and on-premises environments.

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Cloud Infrastructure:

· Architect, deploy, and manage AWS services including EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS Backup.

· Design and implement secure networking architectures using VPCs, subnets, route tables, NAT gateways, and VPNs.

· Optimize cloud resource usage and cost through automation and governance.

· Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging using CloudWatch and third-party tools.

· Manage AMIs, launch templates, and lifecycle policies for compute resources.

· Ensure compliance with security and operational standards across AWS environments.

On-Premises Infrastructure:

· Administer multi-domain Active Directory forests, including replication, GPOs, and trust relationships.

· Manage DNS zones, records, and conditional forwarding for hybrid environments.

· Configure and maintain DHCP scopes, failover, and reservations.

· Oversee DFS namespace and replication setup and troubleshooting.

· Perform regular health checks, patching, and disaster recovery testing for domain controllers.

Hybrid Integration & Automation:

· Implement and support hybrid identity solutions (e.g., AD Connect, SSO, Federation).

· Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and AWS CLI automation for provisioning and maintenance tasks.

· Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud and on-prem environments, including authentication, replication, and network connectivity.

· Collaborate with security and compliance teams to enforce policies and audit readiness.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· 7+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with at least 5 years in AWS.

· Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.

· Experience with hybrid cloud architectures and identity federation.

· Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).

· Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).

· AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator) preferred.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with Azure AD, Okta, or other identity providers.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

· Knowledge of containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) and serverless architectures (Lambda).

· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across hybrid environments.
