AWS Cloud Platform Engineer

Marathon TS is looking for an AWS Cloud Platform Engineer.


Job-Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage Kubernetes environments on AWS for containerized applications.

- Manage infrastructure as code, security, and DevOps practices for AWS resources.

- Work on CI/CD integration and application lifecycle management.

- Optimize performance, troubleshoot networking issues, and ensure system security.



Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

- Active TS/SCI clearance required.

- + years of experience in AWS and DevOps engineering with a focus on Kubernetes.

- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration in relation to workloads on AWS systems, Amazon EKS & in supporting development & testing teams.

- + years of experience with containerized platforms.

- Strong knowledge of scripting languages, hands on CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration.

- IAT Level II certification required.

- Kubernetes CKA certification required.

- At least two of the following certifications. years of proven relevant experience may be substituted for each certification.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or training

- AWS SysOps Administrator certification or training

- AWS DevOps Engineer certification or training
