Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on managing and optimizing our Amazon Web Services (AWS) environment. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, reliability, and security of our AWS account, working closely with engineering teams to support ongoing development and production workloads.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage the AWS account, including environments, services, and access controls
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of cloud infrastructure
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive root-cause analysis
  • Implement and maintain best practices for backups, disaster recovery, and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with backend and application teams to support deployments and infrastructure needs
  • Maintain documentation related to infrastructure setup and operational procedures
Required Skills & Experience
  • Senior-level experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, networking, monitoring, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of cloud security, permissions, and account management
  • Experience operating and supporting production environments
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of infrastructure decisions
Nice to Have (but not required)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to automation or scripting
  • Prior experience supporting small to mid-sized engineering teams
