Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AWS Redshift Database Administrator to manage and optimize Redshift clusters and other AWS services. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of data infrastructure.
Please note: This position is based in Gurugram, and the selected candidate must either reside in the NCR region or be willing to relocate and work from the client’s office.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain AWS Redshift clusters and associated cloud infrastructure.
- Administer scalable AWS environments and data services.
- Support AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, ELB, and NLB.
- Handle system requirements, installations, upgrades, and performance monitoring.
- Troubleshoot database and server issues (Redshift, RDS, MySQL).
- Perform migrations between AWS accounts.
- Monitor and optimize system and database performance.
- Lead incident/change management, release planning, and deployments.
- Conduct disaster recovery testing, backups, and documentation maintenance.
- Provide on-call support when required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- AWS Redshift (Primary)
- AWS RDS, MySQL
- Snowflake (preferred)
- Proficient in SQL tuning and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of database best practices and architecture.
- Scripting experience using Linux Shell or Python.
- Familiar with routine database operations and cloud-based deployment strategies.
- Strong communication skills to engage with business and technical teams
