European Sovereign Cloud Operations Engineer

We are seeking an experienced systems development engineer to lead operations and development teams dedicated to delivering high-availability AWS services. As part of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud in 2025, working closely with global AWS teams, and influencing the evolution of AWS services and technology.

• You will be responsible for collaborating with technology leaders, contributing to the enhancement of day-to-day operations, ensuring improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency.
• You will spend roughly 50% of your time operating production systems and 50% working with your team to make long-term improvements to the reliability, availability, and performance.
