Job Title: AWS systems engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, IAM, and CloudWatch for high-availability retail apps.
  • Implement automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Python/Bash scripts to streamline deployments and reduce manual tasks.
  • Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure security/compliance (e.g., PCI for retail data).
  • Collaborate with Movista's dev/ops teams via tools like Jira/Slack for migrations, scaling, and incident response.
  • Optimize costs, performance, and backups; provide 24/7 on-call support aligned with US client hours.
