Job Description:

Role Summary:

The L2 Support Engineer will be responsible for providing second-level technical support for Remote Access solutions including VPN and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). This role involves troubleshooting, incident resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable remote connectivity for enterprise users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L2 support for VPN and ZTNA platforms across enterprise environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to remote access connectivity and authentication.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues.
  • Collaborate with L1 support and escalate unresolved issues to L3 or vendor support.
  • Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support change management and deployment activities.
  • Ensure compliance with SLAs and internal security standards.
  • Assist in policy configuration and user provisioning for remote access systems.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or network security roles.
  • Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and ZTNA platforms.
  • Understanding of remote access protocols and authentication mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with identity providers (Azure AD, Okta) and SAML integrations.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
