Job Description:
Role Summary:
The L2 Support Engineer will be responsible for providing second-level technical support for Remote Access solutions including VPN and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA). This role involves troubleshooting, incident resolution, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and reliable remote connectivity for enterprise users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 support for VPN and ZTNA platforms across enterprise environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to remote access connectivity and authentication.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify issues.
- Collaborate with L1 support and escalate unresolved issues to L3 or vendor support.
- Maintain documentation of issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Support change management and deployment activities.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and internal security standards.
- Assist in policy configuration and user provisioning for remote access systems.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or network security roles.
- Hands-on experience with VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN) and ZTNA platforms.
- Understanding of remote access protocols and authentication mechanisms.
- Familiarity with identity providers (Azure AD, Okta) and SAML integrations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
