Experience: 6 to 8yrs

Core responsibilities

• Deploying and managing virtual machines, storage, and virtual networks within the Azure environment.
• Implementing security measures, managing user access with identity and access management (IAM) solutions like Azure Active Directory, and enforcing governance policies.
• Monitoring resource performance, analyzing logs, and optimizing resource utilization for cost and operational efficiency.
• Ensuring high availability through services like availability sets and zones, and implementing disaster recovery solutions using tools like Azure Site Recovery.
• Using scripting languages and automation tools to streamline tasks, such as shutting down unused resources to save costs.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to Azure services, performance, and connectivity.
• Implementing and managing cost-effective cloud systems.

Specific tasks

• Creating virtual machines from images or disks.
• Configuring Network Security Groups (NSGs) and Application Security Groups (ASGs).
• Managing backups and performing restores to ensure business continuity.
• Implementing patch management for virtual machines.
• Configuring and managing Azure storage (blob, file, table, and queue).
• Managing subscriptions and resources
