Job Description -

As a Cloud Engineer – Level 3 you will be responsible for supporting, managing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services hosted on AWS and Azure. You will develop cloud strategy, best practices, and roadmaps that align with organizational goals. In addition to managing and mentoring cloud engineers, you will ensure the team is aligned with key cloud projects and initiatives. Collaboration with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective cloud solutions is essential.

Your responsibilities include overseeing the setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure environments. You will monitor and optimize cloud costs to ensure efficient resource utilization and implement cloud security best practices while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Driving automation in cloud deployments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines is also a key focus, along with ensuring the performance, availability, and scalability of cloud services through proactive monitoring and management. These responsibilities require a balance of technical expertise and leadership in managing cloud operations.

The Cloud Practice is a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a diverse group of professionals focused on designing and hands-on delivery of public and private computer-based solutions for our Cloud Services customers. We are seeking an energetic Cloud Architect/Engineer with an obsessive focus on customer satisfaction, applying technology to solve today's IT problems, and building industry-leading cloud solutions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of our go-to-market products, maturity, and evolution of our cloud strategy, including productizing public and private cloud solutions. They will collaborate with our cross-functional teams of technologists, Practice Principals, Account Executives, and Enterprise Architects to assess customer environments, define requirements, and build out modern cloud-based solutions.

Essential Functions

· Solution design, architecture, and implementation

· Supporting customer assessments and pre-sales engagements

· Designing and building private and public compute-based solutions, supporting a Cloud Services model

· Coding and developing continuous automation/delivery processes and tools

· Training, attaining professional certifications, educating staff, personal growth and education

· Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AWS and Azure environments.

· Drive design, implementation, and management of AWS & Azure cloud infrastructure.

· Lead development of secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud architectures.

· Align cloud solutions with business objectives and security compliance.

· Develop cloud strategies, roadmaps, and promote adoption of cloud best practices.

· Oversee cloud resource deployment, maintenance, and cost optimization.

· Implement automation via Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and manage CI/CD pipelines.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless cloud operations.

· Monitor cloud performance, availability, and reliability.

· Provide technical leadership and foster a culture of cloud innovation.

· Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize cloud costs to ensure efficient resource utilization.

· Security & Compliance: Implement cloud security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Automation & CI/CD: Drive automation in cloud deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.

· Performance Monitoring: Ensure the performance, availability, and scalability of cloud services through proactive monitoring and management.

· Cloud Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud architectures on AWS and Azure.

· Cloud Strategy & Planning: Develop cloud strategy, best practices, and roadmaps aligned with organizational goals.

· Team Leadership: Manage and mentor cloud engineers, ensuring alignment with cloud projects and initiatives.

· Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver cloud solutions.
