One of our Customers at RED is in search of experienced Azure Data Architect to join one of their projects on a freelance basis in Germany.


Job Title: Azure Data Architect

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: 6 Months - Initial contract

  • Contract: Freelance

  • Location: Remote (Candidate needs to be based in Germany)

  • Language: German (Written & Spoken)

    • Education and Knowledge Requirements


    Lead the design and end-to-end implementation of Azure Databricks-based advanced analytics solutions, including data architecture, ETL pipelines (PySpark/SQL), Azure service integrations, and technical leadership across data engineering teams.


    Skills Required

  • Strong experience with Azure Databricks including cluster management notebook development and Delta Lake

  • Proficiency in big data technologiesg. Hadoop Spark and data processing frameworks PySpark

  • Experience with ETL/ ELT processes data warehousing and building data lakes

  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with NoSQL databases

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git

  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices

    • Mandatory Skills : Microsoft Azure, Azure Databricks, Big Data, SQL, Azure Data lake, Azure Data Factory
