Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain data storage solutions using Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Build and manage data pipelines for ingestion, processing, and transformation within Azure.
• Create data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory or similar tools.
• Assemble and process large, complex data sets leveraging Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks.
• Implement data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across all data solutions.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, reliable Azure data architectures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong foundation in Azure Data Engineering concepts and architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL.
• Proficient in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data processing and transformation.
• Familiarity with Apache Spark and Big Data technologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and pipeline management.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction abilities.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in designing scalable data ingestion frameworks on Azure.
• Exposure to data governance, monitoring, and performance tuning in cloud environments.
