About the job Azure Data Technical Lead (Permanent, Banking)
Job Responsibilities
- Provide technical and thought leadership across data access and ingestion, processing, integration, modeling, database design, visualization, and advanced analytics to guide internal teams in building robust Azure Data Warehouses, Databricks solutions, data pipelines, and Power BI reports.
- Leverage Microsoft Azure Data and Analytics Services to assess current practices, identify business opportunities, and define a comprehensive migration plan for on‑premises systems, including methodology, data requirements, and compliance strategies.
- Collaborate with project managers to estimate technical tasks, timelines, and deliverables effectively.
- Define and promote best practices for cloud‑based data warehousing and ETL, including reusable code, libraries, patterns, naming conventions, and scalable development frameworks.
