Roles and Responsibility
The DevOps Lead will work in conjunction with the technical leadership to strategize the company’s cloud roadmap to improve business agility and provide modern delivery solutions. The candidate should be able to show exemplary leadership and management traits to ensure the highest quality of service delivery while meeting contractual obligations and exceeding targets; should be able to lead and drive large enterprise-level engagements with complex automation initiatives and management of the project according to the given timelines, cost and without compromising the quality.
Responsibilities Design, create, own, and maintain systems and service deployments in multi-cloud and container architecture (AWS, Kubernetes) Continuously improve CI/CD infrastructure for better reliability, observability, performance scalability. Contributing to important architectural and operational decisions like micro-services vs. monoliths, deployment techniques, technologies, policies, etc. Develop products in the cloud-native ecosystem or architect and develop tools to help the adoption of cloud-native technology. Leading incident response and RCA. Mentor and train team members and review their work. Manage and maintain company’s Infrastructure Environment. Vendor management. Technologies You Will Use GCP, Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud (One of) Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE, Serverless One of Python, Bash Terraform, Vault MySQL, Redis, MongoDB Jenkins, GitHub Spark, Redshift, Elasticsearch (ELK stack) Various other Cloud Native technologies Skills Required
6-8 years’ experience in a DevOps and/or software engineering role Minimum 1 year of experience leading a team of DevOps, SRE, CI/CD engineers of any size. Hands-on scripting and software development fluency in any programming language (Python, Java, Node). Strong CI/CD implementation with Jenkins/Gitlab/GitHub and Integrate 3rd party tools with CICD processes. Familiarity with AWS services such as RDS, S3, EC2, CloudFront, SQS, Redshift, DynamoDB, Kinesis ECS EKS Good knowledge of tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform/CloudFront Implement scripting to extend build\deployment\monitoring processes (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) Proficient with Kubernetes concepts such as Pods, Services, Deployments, Statefulsets, volume claims, Helm Charts, etc. Infrastructure automation experience with knowledge of at least a few of these tools: CloudFormation, Terraform, Packer Proficiency with one or more SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, or MongoDB. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Qualifications BE/BTech in Information Technology or related fields.
