Azure DevOps Engineer (Power Platform Experience)

Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for an Azure DevOps–certified professional with strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps pipelines, infrastructure automation, and Power Apps. The role involves building, managing, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, automating Azure infrastructure, and supporting low-code application delivery using Microsoft Power Platform.

Key Responsibilities

Azure DevOps & CI/CD

Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML & Classic pipelines)

Implement build and release pipelines for applications and Power Platform solutions

Integrate pipelines with source control (Azure Repos / GitHub)

Implement branching strategies and pipeline approvals

Ensure pipeline security, artifact versioning, and rollback strategies

Infrastructure & Cloud Automation

Provision and manage Azure infrastructure using:

ARM templates / Bicep / Terraform

Automate environment setup for DEV, UAT, and PROD

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices

Monitor infrastructure performance, cost, and availability

Manage Azure services such as:

App Services

Azure Functions

Storage Accounts

Key Vault

Azure SQL / Cosmos DB (as applicable)

Power Platform (Power Apps Focus)

Support Power Apps development lifecycle using Azure DevOps

Build pipelines for:

Power Apps

Power Automate flows

Dataverse solutions

Manage solution export/import across environments

Implement ALM practices for Power Platform using Azure DevOps

Security & Governance

Implement secrets management using Azure Key Vault

Integrate security scans and quality checks into pipelines

Apply RBAC, policies, and compliance controls

Ensure secure deployment practices across environments

Required Skills & Qualifications

Mandatory

Azure DevOps certification (AZ-400 or equivalent)

Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps pipelines

Experience building CI/CD pipelines for cloud applications

Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Platform ALM

Infrastructure automation using ARM/Bicep/Terraform

Solid understanding of Azure cloud services

Strong Git and branching strategy knowledge

Good to Have

Experience with Power Automate

Experience with SonarQube / security scanning tools

Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights)

Exposure to DevSecOps practices

Scripting skills (PowerShell / Bash)

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Good communication and documentation skills
