Experience

• 8+ years of overall IT experience
• 4+ years in System Engineering
• 3+ years in Azure Monitoring & Support
• Hands-on exposure to Power BI dataset monitoring

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced professional to manage and monitor enterprise systems with a strong focus on Azure environments and Power BI data platforms. This role involves proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of systems and reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor Azure infrastructure, services, and workloads for performance and availability
• Perform system engineering activities including server, OS, and platform support
• Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents related to Azure resources
• Monitor Power BI datasets, refresh schedules, and report failures
• Configure and manage alerts, dashboards, and monitoring tools for system health
• Perform root cause analysis and first/second-level remediation
• Coordinate with application, data, and infrastructure teams
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and SOPs

Required Skills

• Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights
• Azure VMs, Storage, Networking, Backup & Recovery
• System Engineering in Windows/Linux environments
• Power BI Service & Dataset Refresh Monitoring
• Incident, problem, and change management
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred)

Mandatory Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
• Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300)

Good to Have

• ITIL Foundation Certification
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools
• Exposure to SLA-driven support environments
