Job Title: Azure Native Security Controls Specialist

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Native Security Controls Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure security solutions and the ability to implement, manage, and optimize Azure-native security controls. You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure by leveraging the latest Azure security technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud security, specifically within Azure environments.
• Strong knowledge of Azure native security controls, including Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, Azure Firewall, and Azure Defender.
• Hands-on experience with security automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, and encryption techniques.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) within Azure, including Azure AD, RBAC, and MFA.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and SOC 2, and how they apply to Azure environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate) is a plus.
• Experience with automation and orchestration using tools like Azure Logic Apps, Azure Automation, or Terraform.
• Knowledge of security practices related to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure container security.
• Familiarity with cloud security standards such as NIST, CIS, and Cloud Security Alliance (CSA).
