Job Description – Lead Engineer (Type Script / Node.js)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to guide the design and development of service domain architectures for enterprise-scale applications. In this role, you will be hands-on in building cloud-native solutions using Type Script (Node.js) , ensuring adherence to microservices best practices, and fostering engineering excellence within a regulated financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of scalable, secure, and reliable microservices within a service domain using Type Script.
Implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging Lambda, Aurora Postgre SQL, and MSK (Kafka).
Collaborate with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical designs.
Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD (Git Hub Actions), code quality, automated testing, and performance optimization.
Mentor and support team members to enhance technical capabilities and promote continuous improvement.
Participate in architectural reviews , solution design discussions, and contribute to technology roadmaps aligned with organizational standards.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and data privacy requirements.
Work within Agile/Scrum frameworks and contribute to iterative delivery cycles.

Required Qualifications & Skills
8+ years in software engineering, with 2–3 years in a lead role.
Strong experience in microservices architecture , REST APIs, and service domain design.
Hands-on expertise with Type Script (Node.js) and/or. NET Core.
Solid understanding of AWS cloud services , especially serverless architectures.
Experience with event-driven systems and asynchronous messaging (Kafka preferred).
Familiarity with CI/CD automation and Dev Ops practices.
Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments ; financial services domain is a plus.
Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and modern architectural patterns.
Exposure to frontend frameworks using Type Script is advantageous.
