Back End Developer

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer (AI Training & Language Specialist) to join our engineering and AI research efforts. In this role, you will directly contribute to the advancement of state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) by producing high-quality code, providing expert feedback, and helping shape the evolution of the Motoko programming language.

What you will be doing

• Advance the AI frontier by contributing high-quality code samples in Motoko, an underrepresented programming language, used to train state-of-the-art LLMs.
• Contribute to AI training efforts through Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT), Direct Preference Optimization (DPO), and Reinforcement Learning (RL).
• Provide critical backend engineering feedback to validate and improve paradigms within the Motoko language and its core data structure libraries.
• Act as a subject matter expert, ensuring that both synthetic and human-generated training data reflect best-in-class software engineering principles.
• Bridge the gap between engineering and AI by applying real-world backend expertise to AI model development.
