Job Description
We’re a fast-growing startup with a small, agile team split between Europe and the US. We’re building a serverless recruitment platform on AWS and need a backend engineer who can move quickly, own features end to end, and help automate recruiter workflows using LLMs. You’ll design APIs, data models, and event-driven pipelines that support recruiters.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain Python backend services and REST APIs.
- Design serverless workflows using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Step Functions, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and S3.
- Implement automated workflows and scoring systems powered by LLMs.
- Improve schemas, queries, and data flows across relational and NoSQL storage.
- Contribute to CI/CD, observability, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product and frontend on API design and data contracts.
- Debug performance, race conditions, and data integrity issues in asynchronous pipelines.
