You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable backend applications using Node.js
- Build and integrate RESTful and/or Graph QL APIs for web and mobile platforms
- Design efficient data models and work with SQL and No SQL databases
- Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
- Debug production issues, optimize performance, and improve system reliability
- Collaborate closely with frontend, design, and product teams to deliver high-quality features
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring clean code and best engineering practices
- Assist with deployment, server environments, and release processes
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in backend development
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, Java Script, and Type Script
- Hands-on experience with Nest JS or Express.js
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await)
- Experience with databases such as My SQL, Postgre SQL, Mongo DB, and Redis
- Basic hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
- Experience writing tests using Jest, Mocha, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication abilities
Nice to Have
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Java Script)
- Experience with SASS/LESS
- Knowledge of microservices architecture
- Exposure to system design and scalable backend patterns
