The Role: Back‑End Engineer (Scala)

The Scala Engineer is a key member of our core Engineering team, building a powerful, flexible financial crime detection engine used by top Financial Institutions globally.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, debugging and unit testing of product features following internal procedures and standards.
• Diagnose and solve functional and performance/scalability issues.
• Improve technical practices to maintain a continuously releasable end state, focusing on GitHub, CI/CD and development processes.
• Collaborate with tech leads, Solution Architects, Product Owners and stakeholders to design technical solutions aligned with business and technical goals.
