Job Description – Back Office Engineer (Mechanical)
Position: Back Office Engineer
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Fresher to 2 Years
Department: Sales / Engineering Support
Location: Corporate Office / Factory
Plot No. F-75, Site C, Surajpur Industrial Area – UPSIDA,
Uttar Pradesh – 201306
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide back-office support to the sales and engineering teams.
- Handle inside sales activities, including customer coordination and follow-ups.
- Prepare techno-commercial quotations as per customer and project requirements.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings (GA, layout, and basic fabrication drawings).
- Arrange and follow up on sub-vendor quotations, including comparison and evaluation.
- Maintain and manage product and project documentation, datasheets, and records.
- Support order processing, BOQ preparation, costing, and estimation activities.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and vendors for timely submissions.
- Maintain proper records of quotations, drawings, and vendor offers.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Auto-CAD .
- Basic understanding of quotation preparation and costing.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and email drafting.
- Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical (Fresher or up to 2 years of experience).
- Exposure to industrial products, valves, actuators, or automation systems will be an advantage.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a techno-commercial role.
