We are expanding our engineering team and are looking for a Backend Developer – Generative AI who is excited to work on modern, event-driven systems and AI-powered solutions.
Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Backend Developer (3–5 years experience) to design, build, and scale backend services that power enterprise-grade cloud and AI platforms.
You will work primarily with Python and AWS , focusing on event-driven architectures , high-availability systems, and Generative AI integrations. This role involves close collaboration with frontend engineers, product managers, and data/AI teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
Build and orchestrate event-driven workflows using AWS Step Functions
Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) using AWS Bedrock
Work with core AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3
Design and implement scalable, high-availability backend systems
Develop and maintain microservices using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS)
Ensure performance, reliability, security, and observability of backend services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Must-Have Skills & Experience
3–5 years of backend software engineering experience
Strong Python proficiency for backend development
Hands-on AWS experience (2+ years) with cloud-native services
Experience designing event-driven architectures using AWS Step Functions
Solid knowledge of Lambda, API Gateway, Dynamo DB, Aurora/Postgres, and S3
Experience building large-scale, highly available systems
Practical experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience integrating LLMs using AWS Bedrock
Hands-on experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
Exposure to Kafka or other event-streaming platforms
Experience with AWS observability tools ( Cloud Watch, X-Ray )
Background in AI-driven workflows combining deterministic logic with LLM reasoning
Experience working on enterprise or regulated systems (finance, healthcare, etc.)
