Hours: UK Shift

About the role:
Join the team behind Wave, Gradwell’s cloud-based VoIP phone system for SMEs. As a Backend Developer, you’ll help build and maintain scalable services that power features like call routing, reporting, and softphone integration. Wave is hosted on AWS and designed for high availability and remote access.

Responsibilities:

• Develop backend services for the Wave platform

• Ensure performance and scalability using Java and Perl

• Collaborate in Agile teams

• Support CI/CD and infrastructure automation

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1+ years experience in a Developer role post education

• Debian Linux

• AWS

• Any DVCS

• OO

• SQL

• Unit Testing

• Agile (Scrum)

• CI/CD

• Atlassian Suite

• Java

• Perl

• Asterisk, Kamailio (Desirable)
