Backend Developer – Router & Event Services (Offshore)  

Role Type: Full-Time | Offshore (Chennai) 

Role Summary  

The Backend Developer will contribute to Notification Router and related event-consuming services. This role implements event validation, routing logic, enrichment workflows, and internal service-to-service APIs within the Notification Hub. 

Key Responsibilities  

  • Develop Java/Spring Boot services for event routing and preference workflows. 
  • Build Pub/Sub consumers and implement schema validation (Avro). 
  • Implement message transformations and enrichment through internal API calls. 
  • Work with the Senior Developer to implement internal routing rules and vendor adapter flows. 
  • Support integration testing, monitoring, and debugging event workflows. 
  • Build and maintain REST endpoints where required to support internal operations. 

    • Required Skills & Experience  

  • 3–6 years backend development experience with Java/Spring Boot. 
  • Experience with messaging systems such as Pub/Sub, Kafka, or similar. 
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and JSON/Avro payload processing. 
  • Basic familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native development.

  • Experience in notification, messaging, or event-driven systems.
