Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the needs – design, develop and test software
  • Improve already developed applications
  • Develop, document and demonstrate solutions (documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code)
  • Determine system specifications and standards
  • Work with software building blocks, integrating separate services in a central platform
  • Automate and/or execute satellite and drone image analysis processes
  • Develop and/or optimise algorithms for the use of hyperspectral, multispectral, thermal and radar satellite imagery
  • Develop and maintain automatic processing chains for information extraction from satellite data
  • Write technical deliverables

    • Core Qualifications for This Role

  • Python (Flask/ Fast API)
  • Geospatial Libraries: GDAL or Rasterio etc.
  • GIS Tools: QGIS, ESA SNAP
  • Additional Knowledge (Nice to Have)
  • PostgreSQL/ PostGIS
  • GeoServer
  • SpatioTemporal Asset Catalogs(STAC) API
  • Building and consuming REST APIs
  • Previous experience with ML techniques for Remote Sensing data processing
  • Previous experience with Docker

    • Other Skills

  • Familiarity with Software Version Control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology (Scrum)
  • VS Code
  • Asana for task management
  • Windows Management, Linux basics
  • Leverage the power of AI coding assistants

    • Assets:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering, Informatics or related technical field
  • At least 1 year of previous experience in similar role
  • Delivery within schedule and other constraints
  • Communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Fluent communication in English, especially written
  • Experience with testing methodologies
  • Confidentiality
  • Military Service: Candidate must have completed mandatory militaryservice, if applicable
