Backend Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer with good knowlede of AWS Lambda, MySQL, S3, RDS, Kotlin or Java. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of building lambda functions and serverless architecture. Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
• Strong hands-on experience with MySQL, AWS Lambda, AWS S3, and AWS RDS.
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java (any one) for backend development and scripting.
• Familiarity with building RESTful APIs using serverless architecture is required.

• Experience:
• At least 2 years of proven relevant experience.
• Proven track record of writing and deploying Lambda functions.
• Familiarity with event-driven and microservices-based architectures.
• Familiarity with security best practices and cost optimisation.

• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for working within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Certifications (good to have but not necessary):
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate
• AWS Certified Serverless Developer

What You’ll Do

• Work collaboratively with the backend team to develop backend solutions.
• Design and build serverless applications using AWS Lambda, S3, RDS, and Kotlin or Java.
• Develop, test, and deploy Lambda functions for event-driven applications.
• Manage and secure AWS resources, ensuring security, performance and cost-efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve issues using AWS tools like CloudWatch.
