Work from home and join a fast-growing Australian tech company! We’re seeking an experienced Backend Engineer who has a background in Cloud Development.
Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be Filipino citizens residing in the Philippines.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with Python.
• At least 2 years of professional experience with Web API architectures, REST (highly preferred), SOAP, or GraphQL.
• At least 2 years of programming experience working with Cloud Architecture and Platforms, preferably AWS.
• Has experience working in a serverless project.
• Has experience with development working with databases.
• At least 6 months of Serverless framework background.
• Knowledgeable in Clean Architecture and OOAD (Understands the concepts behind).
• Experience in database design and architecture for SQL and NoSQL databases must be able to consider different access methods and design patterns.

Key Responsibilities

• Design products following coding standards and following Agile development methodology, tools, and release processes.
• Develop microservices following the specifications.
• Estimate level of effort during sprint planning, evaluate open-source options of similar technologies and offer suggestions.
• Design and develop specifications and solutions with attention to system integration and data management.
  

This is a full-time position following the 9 AM to 6 PM Manila schedule.
