Job Description
Key Responsibilities Own large features end-to-end from design, development, testing, to deployment. Design for reliability and scale write clean, efficient, and modular code with clear contracts. Deliver with accountability plan, prioritise, and deliver features with minimal supervision. Solve real problems debug complex issues across systems, not just within your codebase. Build securely follow best practices around authentication, data integrity, and access control. Monitor & optimise own your service dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics. Collaborate with peers work closely with product managers, frontend, and infra engineers. Contribute to reviews & standards ensure quality through thoughtful code reviews and test coverage. Requirements Strong proficiency in Go or similar backend languages like Python with Fast API or even JAVA with Springboot . Experience designing RESTful APIs, working with AWS/ GCP, and using PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or SQS. Hands-on experience with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised environments (Docker/K8s). A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals. Comfort owning features, defining interfaces, and solving ambiguous problems end-to-end. A strong sense of code quality, observability, and operational ownership. Comfortable working in high-growth, fast-moving environments where scale and priorities evolve quickly.
3-5 years
